Here at Clearys' Mobile Welding we've been working on heavy equipment for over 12 years. Line Bore & Line Bore Welding
Line boring and line bore welding is a internal lathe process. Depending on what the job requires will dictate what operations need to be done to have a successful repair. In general we start the process by mounting our machine in the bore with the lathe bar inserted. Once complete we will cut the bore back to a clean base material suitable for welding. After, we will switch to welding the bore back smaller then specified dimension. Once welding is complete we will switch back to the lathe to do final cutting to return bore to its original or specified size.
